Bal Harbour

Bal Harbour is a unique Fort Lauderdale neighborhood just North of Sunrise Blvd. bordered by the Middle River to the East and US-1 to the West. Most of the community is located on the waterfront with nice views of the Middle River. The community is feeling the benefit of the new bridge at Sunrise Blvd. which raised the bridge height to approximately 10 feet allowing for much larger boats to pass underneath. Bal Harbour is in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, the beach and downtown Fort Lauderdale. One of Fort Lauderdale’s dedicated “water sports” areas is located on the Middle River adjacent to the neighborhood making it especially attractive for boaters who enjoy water skiing, wake boarding, tubing and other water sports.
