The GRAND RE-OPENING of Pompano’s East Village and Beach Front on April 5th was a very important day for area residents. It hadn’t rained for weeks, but on this particular Friday it poured all day long. Certainly this would cancel this long awaited event. At 5pm the rain showed no signs of stopping as the vendors an artists set up their tents with grim expectations.
Magically and as if on que at around 5:30pm, it stopped raining and the skies quickly began to brighten. Then the clouds gave way to the warm sunshine. The sunshine gave way to many smiles and sighs of relief. The Celebration had been blessed and the community showed up in droves for the much anticipated event. It was a beautiful night for a celebration and the fireworks were absolutely awesome!
Years in the making, the revitalization of Pompano Beach will have a significant and positive impact on our lifestyle and our property values.
