Mortgage Rates Trend Down for Third Straight Week

Mortgage rates trended down for the third straight week as new data indicates inflationary pressures are receding. The consumer price index slowed to 3.2% in October which is down from 3.7% the previous month. As a result, many economists believe the Fed will stop their rate hikes, but we won’t know for sure until the December meeting.
