Mortgage Rates Down for 3rd Week Straight

30-Year Fixed Rate Approaches 6% Again

Just in time for our peak winter season, mortgage interest rates have dropped down again for the third week in a row. Inventory is still low and median prices are still on the rise in our South Florida markets, so this will bring some welcome relief for buyers who are financing their purchases. The 30 year fixed rate is averaging 6.32% which is about 3/4 of a point lower than the 52 week high in November of 7.08%.
